Likas fire leaves villagers homeless

About 1,000 villagers were made homeless after fire destroyed about 150 wooden houses at Kampung Cenderamata 2 in Likas, Kota Kinabalu on Tuesday.

In the 2pm incident, the fire was believed to have started from a house and the blaze spread quickly as the houses were built close to each other.
