Hadi defers Bill on amendments to Syariah courts' power to next Parliamentary sitting

In Parliament on Thursday, PAS president and Marang MP Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang briefly read out the amendments to the penalty in the Syariah Courts Act but it did not proceed further for debate. However, several MPs said they wanted to debate the Bill.
