Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Saturday said US authorities have confirmed that Equanimity was purchased by fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low, using funds stolen from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
He said Malaysia has also discussed the matter with the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the latter has agreed not to take any legal action.
