China attempted another intrusion on August 31 in Pangong

Even as brigade commander-level talks were on to defuse the border tension, Chinese army attempted another intrusion on August 31 at the same location in the southern Pangong lake area. Chinese forces tried to close in on Kaala Top and Helmet Top, but they were stopped by Indian forces who shouted to them using megaphones to tell them they had been spotted.
