Don’t have hate towards peninsula Malaysians, Wee tells Shafie

In his speech at the Perikatan Nasional mega ceramah in Putatan, Sabah on Thursday night, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong called on Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal not to have hate or anger towards Malaysians from the peninsula when he himself is “connected” to the peninsula.

He said Shafie was always “scolding” leaders from the peninsula, but his wife is from there.

He said Malaysians work together and there is no issue of leaders from across the South China Sea choosing the future of Sabah because those who are leading the state are genuine Sabahans.
