Former Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey took VRS and joined the JDU last month triggering speculation that he would contest the Bihar Assembly election from Buxar, his hometown. But under the seat-sharing deal, the BJP has got Buxar dashing the chances of Pandey contesting election from there.
