Suspected Maoist killed in police firing in Kerala’s Wayanad

The Kerala police have claimed that a group of Maoists opened fire during combing operations by Thunderbolt officials, following which they retaliated in self-defense. The opposition Congress has dubbed the incident an extra-judicial killing.
