Dewan Rakyat sitting temporarily suspended due to false fire alarm

The Dewan Rakyat proceedings was adjourned for awhile after the fire alarm rang out at around 10.20am, with all MPs and staff ordered out of the Parliament building.

Dewan Rakyat Speaker Azhar Azizan Harun who presided over the session attributed the false alarm to a "technical problem".
