In what can only be categorized as important news for the citizens of India, India Post has increased the minimum balance limit for the Post Office Savings Bank (POSB). “Now maintaining minimum balance in Post Office Savings Account is mandatory,” India Post Office tweeted.

इंडिया पोस्ट ने पोस्ट ऑफिस सेविंग्स स्कीम्स में मिनिमम बैलेंस की डेडलाइन जारी कर दी है। अगर आपका सेविंग अकाउंट पोस्ट ऑफिस में है तो ये खबर आपके लिए बहुत जरूरी है। इसके तहत अब आपको पोस्ट ऑफिस सेविंग्स अकाउंट में 11 दिसंबर तक 500 रुपए का न्यूनतम बैलेंस जमा करना होगा। 11 दिसंबर से पहले ऐसा नहीं करने पर खाताधारकों को मेंटेनेंस चार्ज का भुगतान करना होगा।
