Dr M calls Muhyiddin a ‘dictator’, says emergency secured illegally

Dr Mahathir Mohamad had strong words today to describe Muhyiddin Yassin and his Perikatan Nasional government.

The former prime minister said Muhyiddin declared the state of emergency illegally and is now using the power to run a dictatorship.

In a blog post today, Mahathir said the declaration itself did not follow the law on the declaration of emergency.
