Bed shortages at Cairns hospital lead to postponed surgeries

Bed shortages have led to another 'code yellow' being declared at Cairns hospital this week, with some elective surgery postponed as staff try to manage a surge in demand for services. It comes as the Health Minister acknowledges the "massive pressure" on the system, right across Queensland.
