US AIRLINER HUDSON RIVER CRASH LANDING

NY PLANE SUPER SAFE AIRCRASH BY USAIR Pilot Chelsey Sullenberger, a former US AF fighter pilot (with superb NYC resque NYC crews operation) steered the crippled jetliner over NYC and brought it down on the river, warning passengers to "brace for impact."
(Passanger on the plane: ".. the pilot said, 'You guys got to brace for a hard impact.' And thats when everyone started saying prayers and looked over the water — and we thought we had a chance because there was some water, and got to give it to the pilot, man, he did a hell of a landing." The pilot said he walked the length of the plane twice after the crash and was the last one up the aisle to make sure no one was behind him. A passenger approached the Sullenberger while they were standing on a rescue raft in the frigid cold, grabbed his arm, and said I just want to thank you on behalf of all of us. He just said, 'You're welcome.'
