Torrential rains lash Delhi, results in waterlogging

The monsoon has reached every corner of the country and many states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh have received heavy rainfall over the past few days. Incessant rainfall in many parts of the country has disrupted normal life and killed scores of people, causing excessive damage to properties. The national capital experienced a good spell of rainfall on Tuesday morning and an orange alert has been issued for the day. Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi on the day and waterlogging was reported from several parts of the city including VVIP areas as well. Delhi saw traces of rainfall on Monday, as predicted by the weather department. The IMD stated that the intensity of the showers is likely to weaken from Wednesday. Watch this video.
