Manufacturers join green groups to push for electric car subsidies

Vehicle manufacturers have joined green groups to push for bigger subsidies for electric cars. The SA government has already promised a short-term sweetener if parliament agrees to a new tax on electric vehicles. But the State Treasurer says he can't afford to waive stamp duty charges.
