Who was Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to lay the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University in Aligarh on Tuesday. The university is being established by the Uttar Pradesh government in the memory and honour of noted Jat figure Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh, a freedom fighter, educationist and social reformer.
