Speaking on Singhu border killing incident, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on October 16 said that the matter is subject to investigation and it will not affect the on-going farmers’ protest.
“Whatever happened was wrong. Someone killed him, later the killer confessed his crime and was arrested by the police. The matter is subject to investigation. It will not affect our protest,” said Tikait. A corpse of a man, with hands and legs chopped off, was found hanging on a police barricade at the farmers' protest site near the Singhu border on October 15.
