As Cyclone Fani hits Odisha, Puri town and adjoining areas are experiencing incessant rains, accompanied by wind speeds reaching 175-180 km/hr since Friday morning. Thousands of tress and electricity poles have been uprooted and several villages in Puri have been submerged.
