Kent MPs question Prime Minister's plans to increase National Insurance to fund NHS and social care

Boris Johnson announced that the rate will rise by 1.25% next April to help the NHS recover from the pandemic as well as improve social care services.

But the announcement has faced much criticism, including from the Conservative party, especially as it was promised the rates wouldn't be raised in the 2019 manifesto.
