Chaitra Navratri has started from April 2. During Navratri, 9 forms of the mother are worshipped. Every day of Navratri is related to one or the other of the 9 different forms of Maa Durga. Mother Brahmacharini is worshiped on the second day of Chaitra Navratri. Mother Brahmacharini is the one to show the path to the wicked. Due to the devotion of the mother, qualities like power of austerity, renunciation, virtue, restraint and detachment increase in a person.

2 अप्रैल से चैत्र नवरात्रि की शुरुआत हो गई है. नवरात्रि के दौरान मां के 9 रूपों की पूजा- अर्चना की जाती है. नवरात्र का हर दिन मां दुर्गा के विभिन्न 9 रूपों में से किसी न किसी एक रूप से संबंध रखता है. चैत्र नवरात्र के दूसरे दिन मां ब्रह्मचारिणीकी पूजा की जाती है.मां ब्रह्मचारिणी दुष्टों को सन्मार्ग दिखाने वाली हैं. माता की भक्ति से व्यक्ति में तप की शक्ति, त्याग, सदाचार, संयम और वैराग्य जैसे गुणों में वृद्धि होती है.
