Plea for permanent residency for Hazara refugees from Afghanistan

While the Liberals argue the use of temporary visas remain a powerful boat deterrent, Labor is pledging to end the use of visas, which have left some asylum seekers in limbo for over a decade. Now, a regional South Australian council has made its own plea for Hazara residents from Afghanistan to earn a permanent home.
