India reports slight increase in daily Covid-19 tally, 2,897 new cases reported

India reported 2,897 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,31,10,586, while the active cases dipped to 19,494, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated.
