Tasmanian Education Department admits failings in abuse inquiry

The head of Tasmania's Department of Education has told an inquiry the investigation into allegations of abuse were 'woefully inadequate'. A former student told the inquiry yesterday she was allegedly groomed and assaulted by her teacher during weekly trips to a sporting event.
