Margaret Alva elected as opposition's VP candidate

After the decalaration of NDA's Vice president candidate, the opposition also on Sunday announced the former Union minister and veteran Congress leader Margaret Alva as its candidate for vice-presidential election. It was declared by the NCP chief Sharad Pawar after an all-party meet by the opposition parties in New Delhi. Notably, Margaret Alva is a senior congress leader and former Rajasthan's Governor.
