Odisha: Authorities open five gates of Hirakud dam amid rise in water level

Following the rise in water level at Hirakud dam, the dam authorities on July 18 opened five gates of the dam in Sambalpur, Odisha. Incessant rain in the region has led to the rise in water level at Hirakud dam.
