Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA)

U.S. Marines with 3d Battalion, 2d Marines conduct aerial sniper drills from a UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469 on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, July 20, 2022. The training focuses on proficiency and lethality while engaging targets from an aircraft in flight. 3/2 is forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
