Japan Doubles Its Spending On Military: Is It Related To China's Attack On Japan's Economic Zone?

Japan has announced to double the spending on its military. This is coming after China attacked Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Japan will be spending 1% of its GDP on Self Defence Forces. It spends 2% of its GDP on NATO.
