In Diwali, people in Patna light earthen lamps, offer prayers

Diwali was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in Patna on October 24. People illuminated their houses with colourful lights and earthen lamps. They also offered prayers to Goddess Laxmi and sought blessings on the auspicious occasion.
