Ambulance workers' strike suspended as nurses prepare for two new walkouts in January

A planned post-Christmas strike by ambulance workers in the GMB union has been suspended after “amazing” public support for industrial action this week, it has been announced.But the Royal College of Nursing announced new strikes in January as it seeks to force the Government to negotiate a new pay offer for nursing staff.
