Girl dragged by car for 200 meters in Kaushambi

On January 1, a girl student was hit by a car at Devkharpur village in Kaushambi and was dragged roughly 200 meters by the driver. The Kotwali Police have filed charges against the driver who fled the scene after the collision. The girl suffered grievous injuries to her face, chest, and back. She has been admitted to the local hospital where doctors said that her one hand and one leg have been fractured.
