NYC hospitals experience major disruptions as nurses go on strike

More than 7,000 nurses are on strike at two major New York City hospitals, resulting in ambulances and patients being re-routed to other facilities. Hundreds of nurses on the picket line say one of the reasons for the strike are staffing shortages, which are causing widespread burnout in the profession.
