to charges stemming from a 2020
incident in Orange County, California.
Roiland's attorney, T. Edward Welbourn,
released a statement calling media
coverage of the charges "inaccurate.".

battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false

The case was first reported by NBC News
on January 12, 2023, the same day that Roiland
appeared in court for a pre-trial hearing.
