BNM governor Nor Shamsiah keeps mum on reappointment

Tan Sri Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus was tight-lipped about being reappointed as Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) governor.

Speaking to the press at the release of the fourth quarter (4Q) and 2022 GDP statistics on Friday (Feb 10), Nor Shamsiah smiled and said the appointment of the governor is by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Her contract expires this year.
