Man charged after police officer run over and dragged under car in WA

A 23-year-old man has been charged with a string of offences over an incident in Perth that left a serving police officer fighting for life in hospital. The constable was critically injured when he and his colleagues tried to intercept a vehicle allegedly bearing stolen number plates.
