Territorians light up the sky with firework celebrations

Northern Territory skies are sparkling with explosions of light tonight with annual Territory Day celebrations kicking off across the region. Today marks the 45th anniversary of Northern Territory independence from the Commonwealth government and in characteristic fashion Territorians are celebrating with a bang, stocking up on fireworks in huge numbers to light up the sky.
