The Chief Election Officer has responded to claims by the Re-United Farmers Alliance
that in certain electral districts the Presiding Officers of the Elections and Boundaries Commission did not have the party's symbol in order to accept its candidates for the Local Government Elections set for August 14.
The Chief Election Officer says nothing went awry with the Nomination of the party's candidates .
