Huw Edwards “not impressed” with BBC and media coverage

The BBC’s most senior news presenter and one of its highest paid stars. Huw Edwards one of the most recognised faces in the country. Pressure was growing to reveal that he was the mystery presenter at the centre of allegations revealed in the Sun Newspaper. It was left to Mr Edwards wife, Vicky Flind who told the world, revealing that the presenter was suffering with severe metal health issues and had been hospitalised - The news come almost immediately after the Metropolitan revealed that they had founds no evidence if criminal activity and that there would be no further charges.

Later on Wednesday evening the BBC revealed that three of their employees had complained about MR Edwards, with on stating they were left messages that mad them feel uncomfortable. The BBC confirmed that it was pressing ahead with an investigation into serious allegations against the star, including payment of thousands of pounds to a vulnerable youngster with a spiralling drug addiction.
In relation to the latest claims, a BBC spokesman said:

“We are communicating with staff and will continue to do so.

“We always treat the concerns of staff with care, and would always urge any staff members to speak to us if they have any concerns.

“We have clear processes for making complaints within the organisation, including whistle­blowing procedures should someone wish to do so anonymously.”
