Some Parts of the World Are Losing Forests, While Others Are Seeing Them Growing Larger

In 2015 scientists concluded that 70% of the world’s remaining forest now lies within 1 kilometer of the forest’s edge, thanks to a process called fragmentation which is causing forests around the world to shrink. Veuer’s Maria Mercedes Galuppo has the story.
