Boy dies after being detained at Casuarina Prison's Unit 18 while on remand

A 16-year-old Indigenous boy has died after self-harming in a problem-plagued youth detention unit - inside an adult prison in Perth. The teenager had not yet been convicted and was being held in unit 18 on remand.
