A woman was arrested after nearly a kilogram of cocaine was found - hidden within her wig.
The woman, from Entebbe in Uganda, arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai via Nairobi, Kenya on December 19th.
A Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) official said the woman was found to be carrying 890 grams of cocaine.
Based on specific information, the Mumbai zonal unit of the DRI laid a trap at the airport on Tuesday and apprehended the female passenger.
A video shows security staff at the airport inspecting and slowly unravelling the wig to reveal a concealed stash within the curls.
