Brooklyn rapper Yung Cassius is officially in the building and took over the SOHH New Music Wednesday post-show today. The multi-talented Guyana-born and raised musician who took his talent to the most iconic borough in New York City chopped it up for an unforgettable conversation in celebration of his must-see "Brand New" music video premiere.
Ahead of getting into the summertime-ready visual, Yung spoke to SOHH about his originality and approach to music-making. It didn’t take long before the fun really started with a dream collaboration face-off as Cassius found himself having to choose between potential dream guest features from NBA Youngboy/Young Thug and Blac Youngsta/Young M.A. This ultimately ignited an interesting discussion about his respect for rap crooner Tory Lanez and why he could see himself one-day facing off with their music catalogs.
