New robot dog working on motorways and roadsides - will help end traffic jams

Highways officials have unveiled a robot dog working on motorways and roadsides - and claim it will help end traffic jams.

The canine - called Spot - is being tested on the M5 in Somerset where is is assessing embankments, roads and bridges.
