NT government denies it has lost control of youth crime issues as rates of violence offences spike

Violent offences committed by young people have skyrocketed in the Northern Territory to their highest level since at least 2016. The Northern Territory government is blaming “multiple reasons” for the jump, including COVID-19 as it proceeds with another review into the issue.
