Police fatally shot a mentally unstable man in Barrackpore around midday Tuesday.
A team of officers was responding to a call about the man throwing bricks at vehicles on New Colonial Road.
When they got there, the man approached them with a cutlass, causing an officer to fire several rounds at him.
