Speaking to the Palestinian Samaa News Agency, al-Mardawi expressed Hamas' willingness to work with mediators to ensure the resolution's success. “We welcome the UNSC resolution regarding the ceasefire in Gaza and are ready to cooperate with the mediators to implement it,” he said. He emphasised the need for a public commitment from Israel regarding the ceasefire before entering into negotiations.
