Washingtonians seek relief from the heat as the temperature hits 100F

As a blistering heat wave gripped the Eastern United States on Saturday (June 22), Washington D.C. residents and visitors did their best to stay cool as temperatures topped 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.7 Celsius).
