Accepting defeat in the Sungai Bakap by-election, Penang Pakatan Harapan chairman Chow Kon Yeow says it was the choice of the people.
At the Pakatan vote tallying centre at the Bukit Jawi Golf Resort, Nibong Tebal, Penang on Saturday night (July 6), Chow acknowledged that they had lost the seat to Perikatan Nasional with a larger majority than in the previous state election, and would conduct a post-mortem to analyse the campaign's weaknesses, strengths, and reasons for the decreased majority.
