Seven police officers, who were charged in connection with businessmen being extorted in Sangre Grande, no longer have to worry about those charges.
At least, for now.
A High Court Master discharged the officers, after the Court Master was left in the dark about whether police had sent a file to the DPP's Office.
However, the charges can be re-laid in the future.
