Amazon.com Inc. is scaling back some diversity and inclusion initiatives amid growing activist pressure on U.S. corporations to end such programs.  Amazon’s vice president of Inclusive eXperiences and Technology, Candi Castleberry, shared in a memo that the company is consolidating and ending outdated efforts. Castleberry emphasized a shift toward programs with proven outcomes to foster a more inclusive culture. Anti-DEI advocate Robby Starbuck has gained momentum in urging U.S. corporations, including Walmart and Boeing, to reduce or eliminate diversity initiatives. President-Elect Donald Trump is expected to oppose such programs, as allies allege they discriminate against White workers.
