As Donald Trump, president of the United States of America, continues to talk trash about the European Union (or Europe in general), and also stopping any american support to Ukraine in its war against Russia, thinking Europe is defenseless, I think we should talk a bit about The Old Continent's history, and remember some great events: Battle of Marathon, Battle of Tours/Poitiers, Siege of Malta, Siege of Vienna.
All of these battles were won by Europeans, either alone or united, but definitely without a superpower from outside the continent. Oh yes, and no help from the US here ( they weren't yet born as a sovereign nation)
So please remember: united we stand, divided we fall.
