मुरादाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश 03 जून 2025: समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता एस. टी. हसन ने बकरीद को लेकर उठे कुछ सवालों पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा, हम बकरीद पर न तो पटाखे फोड़ रहे हैं और न ही किसी प्रकार की गंदगी फैला रहे हैं। हम लोग जो जानवर की कुर्बानी देते हैं, वह एक परंपरा है, जो 4 से 5 हजार साल पुरानी है। अब इस पूरे मुद्दे को एक तमाशा बना दिया गया है। कोई कहता है कि कागज का बकरा बनाओ और उसे काटो, या आटे का बकरा बनाओ और उसे काटो — यह सब क्या है? उन्होंने आगे कहा, इसका असली मकसद देश में रहने वाले लोगों के बीच दरारें पैदा करना है।
